I think everyone loves cheese, I know I do! That's the one thing that I really miss is the taste of cheese. Missing my cheese and crackers sure. I haven't found store bought cheese that I really liked but if I make my own cheese, I know what ingredients are in it. No preservatives!
1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (such as Oat or Almond)
2 1/2 tbsp starch (arrow root or corn starch)
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp lemon juice
Sea salt or kosher salt to taste
Cracked pepper to taste
Directions:
Before you start, place the starch in a small bowl and add a little water (about a tsp), then stir with a fork until the starch and water are thoroughly mixed and smooth.
Place place all ingredients in a sauce pan on a low flame, stir constantly until combined well and and thickened.
Pour over, fries, tortilla chips, in your omelet, whatever you desire. Store any left-over in a container and refrigerate.
